She looked around watching everyone getting ‘along’. It made her smile. She liked this. Her ‘children’ getting along, and living their lives.
Luce cupped her hand to her cheek and let out a small breath. Some how she was blessed with so many boys, any mother would have quit this long ago, but she was going strong.
Just to have her ‘children’ like this was enough for Mother’s day.

Reborn sighed. “Luce, you know I don’t care about lifting my curse.”
The reason Chrome is battling is because she insisted. Her pride was in battling on the team; she overstepped her usual boundaries to request it from Tsuna. One of the things that was worse than dying, in Reborn’s opinion, was living without honor. He couldn’t deny her request.
“I understand.” she nodded her head still a bit sad. She hated watching people fight. Especially children, even her granddaughter Uni. It wasnt right to face children against things of such nature as the Mafia world, Arcobaleno, or Vindice. The world the adults should have created for these children was suppose to be a more peaceful place. That was what she hoped her daughter would have been able to live in or fixed for Uni.
“….it can’t be helped….can it, Reborn?” she didnt try to hide the sadness in her voice or try to force a smile. She had lived her life by the rule of smiling for the sake of others, but this time she couldnt bring herself to do it.

Luce cleared her throat having had stepped silently into the kitchen. “Excuse you young man.”
She tapped her foot crossing her arms. “Take those gloves off and wash your hands before getting a cookie.”
